Year-End Real Estate Newsletter Outline: 8 Sections for December
December is the month many past clients expect to hear from you. Use this outline to send a year-end newsletter that is useful, short and easy to build in an afternoon.

The 8 sections
- 1. A two-line personal note: say thank you and what this email covers.
- 2. Your local year in review: three numbers for your city or ZIP code (median list price, days on market, homes for sale), each with its source and month.
- 3. What changed for homeowners this year: one plain-language takeaway from those numbers.
- 4. A winter home checklist: furnace filter, smoke detectors, pipes, gutters, dryer vent.
- 5. Local happenings: holiday events, new businesses, road projects people asked you about.
- 6. One local favorite: a spot or service you trust (say so if anything is paid).
- 7. Your home value offer: one sentence offering a free, no-pressure check of what their home could sell for.
- 8. A short note on 2027, your sign-off, how to reach you and an easy way to unsubscribe.
How to send it
- Send in the first two weeks of December, before inboxes fill up.
- Keep it to about one phone screen and link out for details.
- Only email people who opted in to hear from you, and always include an unsubscribe link.
- Reuse the market section as a social post and a short text to your sphere.
