Just Sold Post Ideas: 7 Ways to Share a Closing
A sold sign on its own says you closed a deal. A just sold post that tells a short story gives your sphere a reason to reply, and it reminds neighbors that you know their street. Here are 7 just sold post ideas you can use after any closing. Ask your client before you share anything about their sale.

The 7 posts
- The sign plus one line: your best exterior photo with the sold sign and one sentence on what stood out, e.g. "Sold in [neighborhood]: the updated kitchen was the first thing buyers mentioned."
- From first photo to sold: put the first listing photo next to the sold sign and share the timeline in one line (listed in June, under contract in July).
- One lesson from the sale: a single, useful takeaway such as how you set the price or why the first weekend mattered. Only share numbers your client and your MLS allow.
- A thank-you to your sellers: congratulate them on their next step. Keep it short and leave out personal details unless they want them shared.
- The neighbor angle: "Thinking of selling nearby? Here is what homes on your street are doing," with current local numbers and their source.
- A 10 to 15 second reel: listing photos in walk-through order, ending on the sold sign, with captions on screen.
- The buyer side: if you represented the buyer, share what they were looking for and how the search went, in general terms and with their OK.
Before you post
- Get your client's permission for photos, the address and any mention of the sale.
- Check your MLS and state rules before you share a sale price.
- Describe the home and the process, never the people who bought it.
- Show your brokerage name the way your state requires.
